Contract and Permanent roles available:
Senior/Lead Games Programmer (£26-42k depending on experience)
- We are looking for a seasoned games programmer to work on both our internal tech and game code.
- Highly motivated and passionate about programming the right candidate must be experienced with 3+ years in the industry, one or more shipped titles and working on at least two different platforms (such as Xbox360/PlayStation3/Wii/PC).
- You can hit the ground running, get up to speed with new processes and systems quickly, and be productive
- Expert in C++/STL, you will know best programming practices and be able to inspire the team around you to create high quality, efficient and maintainable code.
- Ability to manage and breakdown technical tasks for scheduling milestones and sprints.
- Experience with JavaScript/Java/PHP/MySQL/NoSQL advantageous
- This role requires general all-round game/tech/tools programming and debugging skills, so a solid understanding and preferably experience with Physics/Audio/Game/Rendering/CrossPlatform/Tools/Network coding and technical design will be very favourable.
- You may be required to oversee existing processes like automated builds, system documentation, middleware evaluation/integration, new platforms, SDKs, and our internal tool chain.
Mobile Apps Programmer (£18-25k)
- We are looking for a highly motivated and productive individual with passion for mobile development, and who wants to build a career in mobile development within our team.
- iOS/C++ experienced, Android/Java/NDK a big plus as is experience with PHP/MySQL databases, Google App Engine, user interfaces/Cocoa and cross platform mobile development.
Web designer (£18-28k)
- We are looking for a talented web designer to manage our online brands and projects.
- The right candidate will be passionate about modern website presentation methods, styles and technologies – Flash/JavaScript/HTML/CSS/AJAX skills expected.
- PHP/MySQL/ActionScript experience a positive.
- Good eye for graphic design, attention to detail, and technically adept.
- We are building new interactive product websites, for games, corporate and HTML5 browser based applications so this is an exciting opportunity where UI and design clarity are key.
- Previous experience or portfolio required.
Placement and work experience

Be warned that our placements are very ‘hands on’, expectations are high, and you will be very much involved in all stages of the development process.
Unfortunately, we are not currently offering work experience to secondary school students.
Further information
With these vacancies, raw talent and proven development skills are just as important as qualifications. Demo materials and/or examples of previous work will be required for each role.
We often provide short tests for our candidates, which we use to evaluate problem solving abilities. In some key positions we may also ask candidates to complete a DISC questionnaire to assist us with our selection process. Don’t be put off though – these are simple proven methods to help build great teams.
Although we do sometimes have positions for remote working we regret that the current positions available are full-time and in-house roles.
